Finally - The Secret To Becoming A Star Bass Player (In Record Time)
An eBassGuitar Expert Assessment Plan is your individual skill-development road map that reveals the exact areas you need to focus on NOW to reach your full playing potential with the bass guitar.
Ready to Become a Bass Player?
A big barrier bass guitarists face is knowing “where” they are in their learning journey.
You could be new or a pro – it doesn’t matter, it can be hard to tell.
For years now, ebassguitar.com’s online community, courses and resources have been the turning points for thousands of bass guitarists around the world.
And along the way, a lot of bass players have asked me THIS question:
“What should I be focusing on right now?” (with an emphasis on the “I”).
So, I developed this:
It’s an individual playing-improvement plan for bass guitarists. It pinpoints the exact areas you need to focus on for the next 6-12 weeks (and beyond) so you can head towards reaching your full playing potential.
It’s ideal for every type of bass guitarist, no matter what type of music you’re into. It’s perfect for:
· New starters
· Intermediate players
· Seasoned performersAn eBassGuitar Expert Assessment Plan is vital for reaching your playing goals because it unlocks the answers you need.
Here's how it works:
Step 1: You sign up and then fill out a short online questionnaire
This lets us know your playing history and your current challenges.
Above all, it tells us what you want to achieve with the bass guitar.
This part only takes around 5 minutes.
You’ll then get an email to schedule your individual online Expert Assessment Plan session with an approved eBassGuitar bass guitar coach.
(The assessment is fun – it’s not an exam – and you’ll do it online over Zoom.).
Step 2: You complete your Expert Assessment with your eBassGuitar coach
This part takes 20 – 30 minutes and we’ll assess your playing in three critical areas:
Your ability to play songs and bass lines:
Here, you’ll play a well-known song. You can play it in full or just a 1-2 minute excerpt. You can choose from 7 world-famous tracks for your assessment.
If you want to play something else, no problem - it just needs to be well-known so we can accurately assess your playing ability.
Your fretboard knowledge:
Our simple process will bring out your foundational skills with the fretboard.
Knowing your level of understanding here directs us to build YOUR personal plan to start mastering this essential part of the bass guitar.
Your rhythm and groove knowledge:
We’ll then put your current fretboard skills to work with some specific chord sequences.
And we’ll get you playing some fundamental grooves to see your rhythmic and harmonic understanding.
This specific assessment lets us compile your 5-Point Bass Analysis Report, which means we can complete your personal road map with the bass guitar.
Step 3: You receive your individual 5-Point Bass Analysis Report
At the end of the session you’ll receive your personalized 5-Point Bass Analysis Report.
This is an easy-to-follow PDF. Your eBassGuitar coach will email it to you.
It’s in here you’ll clearly see your current playing status with regard to your:
· Technique Level
· Fretboard Knowledge
· Performance Skills & Fluency
· Groove Timing / Skills
· Chords, Harmony and Theory Knowledge
You’ll also receive this: your specific training recommendations for the next 6 – 12 weeks and beyond from your eBassGuitar coach.
This is YOUR personal road map with the bass guitar. Follow this, and you’ll be on the right track to achieve YOUR bass guitar goals. You’ll start to see your playing change almost immediately.
