Hey Groove Masters,
James here. Let's talk about how to make music theory make sense.
I get this question all the time.
And I feel your pain.
It’s music theory.
How on earth do you get it all to make sense?
This is something soooooo many of my students get roadblocks with.
You’ve learned all the theory.
You’ve put hours and hours into learning their scales, arpeggios, chord tones, intervals etc
You may even be able to race around the neck at breakneck speed playing them.
But… you just can’t get them to ‘make sense’ in the real world.
It happened to me too.
All this knowledge, yet no idea how to apply it and create bass lines that sound good.
There were times it drove me round the bend!
However there was a shift… and it was the thing that made the difference.
In this lesson I want to show you the counterintuitive (possibly controversial) way I made music theory REALLY start to make sense.
There’s also a FREE cheat sheet that comes with the lesson… so don’t forget to grab that 😉
As always, keep groovin’ hard
James
