I'm super excited because, at the time of making this lesson, we have just released our brand new Texas Blues Jam Backing Track Album for bass guitar players and so I want to give you a sneak peek of what's inside and show you how you can master over 40 authentic blues bass lines.
So the Texas Blues Jam Backing Track Album is a set of 12 world-class blues bass backing tracks made especially for bass guitar players inspired by the some of most legendary names in the Texas Blues scene like Etta James, B.B. King, The Allman Brothers Band, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, The Blues Brothers, and Gary Moore.
This album is special and very different because it uses our unique Groove Level System! Each backing track comes with 3-5 blues bass lines that you can learn all the way through. They start from simple and straightforward to more intense and complex. So there's so much you can get your teeth into regardless of whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or a more advanced bass player.
So what I want to do today is take one of the backing tracks from the album and show you how this works in practice. I'm going to take Track 12 called "True Blues" which is inspired by Kenny Wayne Shepherd's "True Lies".
