Hey, James here…
Once in a while I stumble across a bass player who has never quite got the credit he or she deserves… yet they’re masters of the instrument.
I’ve always been a massive fan of the bass lines in Jackson's early records. Many of these were played by the great session bassist Wilton Felder.
However, live Jermaine Jackson took care of bass duties…what's more, the guy is singing AND dancing at the same time!
No mean feat.
He’s phenomenal and has definitely not had the recognition in the bass world.
See if you agree with me?
Keep on groovin’ hard,
James
