Do you love those trouser flapping low notes?
I certainly do… especially when I’ve got a big, loud amplifier behind me and a 5 string bass.
Yes, you heard that right.
A 5 string.
Now it’s not often you see me with a 5 string… but my back story is I played 5 string pretty much exclusively for 15 years.
And that low B string can be a ton of fun.
So naturally if a student comes to me and says they’d like to get a ‘five’... I say go for it!
But there’s one mistake I see so many bass players make when approaching the instrument.
In this lesson I’m going to share that mistake and the one simple drill they can use to make ‘learning’ the 5 string easier!
