There are two bass players I have always loved:
Anthony Jackson
Pino Pallidino
Those guys have the ability to place the most extraordinary bass fills & licks that more often than not leave me with my jaw on the floor.
In today’s video I want to show you a lick inspired by what these guys get up to rhythmically and harmonically.
This is a lick you’ll hear me play every so often… especially if there’s that extra special moment where the bass can stand out and musically ‘shine’.
