Over the summer, I was fortunate to spend four days at a beautiful family festival here in the UK called "Camp Bestival". If you are in the UK, I recommend checking it out because it's a super cool vibe!
During the festival, the real highlight for me was seeing Sister Sledge. In the Sister Sledge band, there were two British musicians. One of them was a friend of mine, Arden Hart, who is playing the keyboard, and a guitarist, Tim Sandiford. It's not uncommon for Sister Sledge to use British musicians in their band whenever they come to the UK because they also worked with eBassGuitar's very own Paul Geary, who's a part of our coaching team, as one of their touring musicians!
Although in Camp Bestival, they were working with David Jones, an American bass player, who was absolutely fantastic. When it came around to playing Sister Sledge's ultimate hit, "We Are Family", I was reminded why this bass line is tremendously genius!
