The beautiful thing you'll discover is that funk bass can be really simple and sparse, or it can be really heavy and intense.
It's an amazing genre of music, which was pioneered by bass players such as Larry Graham, Bootsy Collins, Verdine White, Marcus Miller, and Louis Johnson.
